# Send from an OpenTelemetry Collector

> Add Superlog as an OTLP/HTTP exporter to a Collector you already run.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Telemetry is in early access. To turn it on for your workspace, [book a call](https://cal.com/superlog/yc) or ask in [Discord](https://discord.gg/wJ56aRh8hx).

You need an ingest key. See [Create an ingest key](https://docs.superlog.sh/guides/instrument-your-app.md#create-an-ingest-key).

If you already run a Collector, add an `otlphttp` exporter and use it in each pipeline:

```yaml theme={null}
exporters:
  otlphttp/superlog:
    endpoint: https://superlog.sh/api/ingest
    headers:
      x-api-key: ${env:SUPERLOG_INGEST_KEY}
service:
  pipelines:
    traces:
      receivers: [otlp]
      processors: [batch]
      exporters: [otlphttp/superlog]
    metrics:
      receivers: [otlp]
      processors: [batch]
      exporters: [otlphttp/superlog]
    logs:
      receivers: [otlp]
      processors: [batch]
      exporters: [otlphttp/superlog]
```

The `otlphttp` exporter adds `/v1/traces`, `/v1/metrics`, and `/v1/logs` to the endpoint. Gzip compression, its default, is supported. Use `otlphttp`, not the gRPC `otlp` exporter: Superlog accepts OTLP over HTTP only.

Use `https://us.superlog.sh/api/ingest` for a workspace in the US region.
